Scope of Work

Job Scope:
Have at least 10 years and above experience in oil and gas engineering related to offshore and onshore pipelines (Predominantly Offshore Pipelines)

Be competent to design, specify and review the engineering related to pipeline wall thickness, stability, cathodic protection, free spanning, riser design, pipeline and riser installation etc.

Be conversant with international standards and codes related to pipeline engineering such as DNV, ASME, API, BS, Shell DEP etc.

Experience equivalent to Lead Pipeline Engineer in and engineering consultancy and EPC firms.

Capability to prepare scope of work for Consultants and EPC firms to execute pipeline jobs for the company.

Experience in handling tenders, bid reviews, technical evaluation and providing recommendations.

Participate in review meetings related to HSE, Constructability and value engineering

Be competent to produce & review pipeline installation, pre-commissioning & related procedures.

Experience in preparing pipeline specifications, MRQ’s and technical evaluations for pipeline items

Ability to communicate with others technically both orally and in writing

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

Master Degree in Structures will be added advantage

Knowledge in AUTOPIPE, OFFPIPE, DNV Software on Wall Thickness, Stability and Free Span

Salary RemunerationUSD 500.00 to USD 800.00 per day worked. This amount is deemed to include Salary, Accommodation, End of Service Benefits, Allowances, Overtime, Airfares, Paid Leave etc.
