Scope of Work

Job Scope:
Experience in the Mechanical Engineering activities from conceptual design to commissioning for the brown/ green field onshore/ offshore oil and gas projects.

Conduct in-house feasibility studies, design and construction engineering of plant facilities in accordance with international codes and standards, company specifications and good engineering practices

Prepare/ provide mechanical input to the following technical documents:
Statement of Requirements
Execution Strategies
Scope of Work/ Services of new facilities and for modifications to existing equipment.
Material requisitions as part of the Commercial Department’s purchase requisitions for new equipment
Engineering packages, including equipments specifications datasheets, drawings etc.
Consultant/ Engineer/ Contractor/ Vendor documentation reviews.

Carry out technical bid clarifications and evaluations on equipment, engineering services and projects/ studies.

Review and design works and studies performed by Engineering Consultants and ensure that they are in accordance with the technical requirements. Review and approve drawings, specifications and technical documents.

Proficient with mechanical static equipment design standards, related to the oil and gas industry, with respect to ASME Section VIII Division 1 & 2, TEMA, API 660, API 650, API 579-1/ ASME FFS-1 and relevant international standards.

Provide input/ update to company engineering specifications procedures and philosophies

Participate in consultant/ engineer/ contractor/ vendor pre-qualification technical audits.

Participate as company representative specialists on static equipment inspection and performance testing

Experience in design analysis of pressure vessels, namely fatigue, thermal, discontinuity and vessel support stresses, nozzle reinforcement, and fitness for service on existing in-service static equipment and associated piping.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering

10 years and above experience in oil and gas industry

Knowledge in PV-Elite, Tank, FEPIPE, XL Spreadsheet Calculations, SmartPlant, EDMS, and Maximo.

Salary RemunerationUSD 500.00 to USD 650.00 per day worked. This amount is deemed to include Salary, Accommodation, End of Service Benefits, Allowances, Overtime, Airfares, Paid Leave etc.
