Scope of Work	Main Scope Fire fighting Engineer is skilled work, with an emphasis on maintenance of fires systems, emergency apparatus and facilities The work involves training and participation in duties protecting lives and property by fire fighting and rescue activities Main Activities Fire System: Perform the routine inspections and testing of the fixed fire protection system to ensure fire systems to ensure fire systems readiness and compliance with codes and standards Buildings: Perform the routine inspections on all buildings to ensure that all fire protection detection systems are readily available and working in normal conditions Fire Water Supply Perform routine checks on fire pumps fire main rings fire hydrants and source of water supply to ensure serviceability of fire water supply equipment devices and adequate water level Co2 and others gases system Carry out routine checks inspections maintenance on CO2 and other gases systems to ensure readily available and working in normal conditions Fire Extinguishers: Perform routine checks on fire extinguishers availability and readiness and report any failure and difficulties with extinguishers Fire Emergency Alarms: Responds to all fire emergency alarms or calls in an expedient manner to implement the correct fire prevention protection measures Fire Systems Testing: Perform fire system functional testing of alarm detection and suppression systems as requested instructed Follow up the maintenance contractor in maintenance of the fire system In additional to above he/she Must have hands on relevant experience in installing fighting systems such as fire wet dry Riser fire sprinkler water spry system Co2,FM 200, etc.. Maintenance of all fire fighting systems Able to read understand all fire systems technical drawings Have a electromechanical background to understand the mechanical and electrical fire systems Making routine Emergency adjustments of fire fighting equipments Operation & day-to-day troubleshooting of fire fighting systems Understand very well the latest NFPA standards and other fire systems standards Should be proficient in making routine adjustments of fire fighting equipments Maintaining all type of fire equipments and other related work as required Conducting tests on fire alarm and protection equipments in order ensure that it is in good working and safe condition Assist in the maintenance of inventory records for all equipment Pre-plans fires in occupancies to record information pertaining to location of fire hydrants exposure hazards life hazards, etc... Perform fire inspections as required Provides fire prevention and public fire safety education programs as necessary Demonstrates fire fighting tools equipment and emergency medical equipment in all location Assists in the reporting of fire incidents to HSEQ Performs other duties as assigned and directed by the direct supervisor
Minimum Requirements	Engineering Qualification Electrical Mechanical 8 – 10 years experience in system operation Maintenance design preferably in a large organization Excellent experience in fire fighting including installation maintenance testing & commissioning of all type of fire fighting systems Excellent knowledge of international standards such as NFPA Good knowledge in Auto CAD Ms office Good interpersonal communication coordination and problem solving skills Good knowledge of written and spoken Arabic, English Valid UAE driving license
Salary Remuneration	long term and contract hire employment. Salary is negotiable plus benefits as per UAE Law.
