Scope of Work

Accountability:
To provide mechanical engineering support to the project in a common and consistent manner for Brownfield modification projects and for any Greenfield projects during FEED and detailed design phases. Accountable for delivering Mechanical work scopes in accordance with the agreed work plans and schedules. To co-ordinate required Engineering deliverables. Liaising with other disciplines, PSN site office in Bahrain and vendors.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of CTR’s and man-hour estimates via the company Management System.
• Execute technical duties in a competent and professional manner in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure work is completed on Schedule and within budget.
• Ensure project deliverables are generated via the company Management system.
• Review and check the work of design team.
• Liaise with other disciplines on design, construction, fabrication and commissioning issues.
• Provide engineering and technical direction for design personnel.
• Be familiar with the company HSE Operating System and Policy.
• Prepare specifications for mechanical packages
• Review and comment on vendor information and assist with inspection and testing.
• Carry out single and inter-discipline checks and reviews.
• Attend meetings as and when required.
• Carry out onshore survey and answer site queries (Bahrain).
• Assist procurement and project engineering personnel in the procurement of equipment and materials.
• Must be willing to make regular business trips to Bahrain site.

Technical / Business Skills:
? Be familiar with the company HSE Operating System and Policies.
? Conversant with local regulatory environment, and standard offshore international and national industry standards and specifications.

Interpersonal Skills:
? Good communication, networking, collaboration and well developed team-working skills.
? Experience with supervision and developing potential in others.

Competencies:
? Overall understanding of entire technical value chain integration including estimating, studies, conceptual and detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, inspection, testing and repair

Minimum Requirements

Business & Industry Experience:
? Minimum 5 years experience in an Engineering position.
? Fully conversant with local regulatory environment, and standard offshore international and national industry standards and specifications.
? Previous Design knowledge and offshore survey experience.

Educational Attainments:
? Degree qualified

Salary RemunerationLong Term Salary is negotiable depending on qualification & experience Medical Health Insurance will be provided as per company policy
